Sun rises and brings the light of a brand new day

Cool breezes brush my face and I begin to pray

Memories of times past fill my mind

God, Your grace covers me, and all the past is left behind

Father, You lift my head…

Restore me with gladness

Night is past away

Made room for another day

Father You lift my head…

Take away the sadness

All guilt and shame are gone

You give strength to carry on

And it all comes from looking at Your face

A moment of Your glory and pain is erased

Day is done and the sun sets… brings the world to rest

I feel Your arms wrapped around me and I am blessed

I am made whole as You sing to me in the quiet of the night

I close my eyes and dare to dream of what will come with the morning light
