Open my eyes

Let me see your open arms

Open my mouth, let my voice tell of my hearts cries

Open my ears, let me hear your word echo through the storm

Oh Lord, open my eyes

Some prayers seem so easy to pray

But what happens when my heart hears the words my mouth so weakly says

God is good - God is great - but do I truly know

Jesus - open my eyes to the great mercy you show

Open my eyes

Let me see your open arms

Open my mouth, let my voice tell of my hearts cries

Open my ears, let me hear your word echo through the storm

Oh Lord, open my eyes

Now I lay me down to sleep - are these the truths I know and keep

Do I have the trust in God to rest my head and find the peace to dream

Peace can only come through knowing the one who holds the world in place

Jesus - open my eyes - let me see your face
