I want to be a lion… Brave and bold

I want to feel the warmth of fur when the air is cold

I want to be a lion… I want my heart to soar

I want to see my enemies tremble when they hear my roar

But so many times… My heart trembles like a lamb

And I realize… just how weak I am

I long to follow you Lord… close by your side

And in your arms I need to hide

I look into your eyes… and I see my desire

Through battle and sacrifice… Your hand never tires

Lord, give me strength and the humble heart to see you as the great I am

Open my eyes… help me be like a lion and a lamb
