Holy Spirit I need you to guide me

Please take me to your light

Holy Spirit I need you beside me

Please guard me in the fight

With your hand to hold on to

I know I can go through the walls of fear

And with your power inside me

I know your presence guides me here

Holy Spirit I need you to hold me

Please take me through the night

Holy Spirit I need you to show me

The way to go to what is right

I look to the cross and you say to me,

“In this overcome!”

I wake from sleep as you made me to be

As I find you I find the battle is won.
