“At The Foot of The Cross”

At the foot of the cross the ground is even

No one stands higher than the Son

It’s by mercy and grace that we find forgiveness

And at the foot of the cross the battle is won

We’ve got dust on our feet, and no food to feed the people

So many problems we don’t think we can meet

Our Lord is the one to meet all our problems

He wants to be the one to meet all our needs

At the foot of the cross the ground is even

No one stands higher than the Son

It’s by mercy and grace that we find forgiveness

And at the foot of the cross the battle is won

Our teacher washes our feet… So our hearts may be clean

And asks for what we have… So that all may be fed

Our King comes to our heart… to conquer our despairing

He’s proven His love by the blood that He shed
