As I peek through the doors of my mind… I wonder

Will I find anything friendly in the world today

As I open the doors… what will I find??? I wonder

Will I find a friend who wants to play

So many doors to be opened

So many new things to see

So many ways to find what I need

Only through one door will I find… I am free

God show me the door that leads to you… I’ll follow

Give me the strength to hold the key

God take my hand and pull me through… I’ll follow

Open my eyes give me the courage to see

I don’t know what I’ll find beyond the next step

But I’m gonna leave fear behind

I’m going out through the door that’s kept me in despair

I’m gladly going out… to face what I find
